Chipper, bright, prone to blushing, and nerdy as heck, Maddy is a small bundle of snow leopard. She looks to be somewhere in her mid-teens, standing a bit over four and a half feet tall. Puberty has clearly hit, but only recently, so she hasn't gained much in the way of height, nor of a chest, only adding to the appearance of being a kid. She looks like she never quite lost that baby-fat, and has landed firmly in the camp of 'chubby'. School being what it is, she's fairly self-conscious of her weight, hiding in slightly-too-big boy shirts and loose skirts whenever she can, both of which serve to help keep her cool, even on the coldest days. Beyond that, the girl wears nothing else - again, the better to stay cool - except for a pretty band around her neck of solid metal (titanium, as she'll proudly tell you), circular in cross-section and polished to a gleam. There's no visible means of removing it.
She's got more than enough fluff to keep her warm, after all. The thick gray fur also serving to hide her curves somewhat. The fur is fairly standard for a snow leopard, light gray on all but her belly, which is a snowy white, with darker gray rosettes scattered evenly through it. The one defining feature being her paws: these are that darker gray, almost black, of her rosettes, covering her arms from fingertips to elbows. Yet another thing for her to feel self-conscious about.
In order to draw away from what she sees as the less-appealing aspects of her appearance, Maddy's taken steps to flash up the bits of her that she likes more. She's dyed her hair in pastel colors, a smooth fade from pale pink to sky blue, complementing her light blue eyes. The hair is worn up in a pony tail most of the time, though bangs continue to pester her throughout the day. The rest of her face is fairly plain, though certainly not lacking in expressiveness. When she's not blushing and stammering about something that makes her shy and embarrassed (that abiding love of Enya, perhaps), she's most likely to be animatedly geeking out about something she cares deeply about, such as Star Wars novels, or perhaps Firefly. Her nose is pink with a few darker splotches on it, fronting a fairly standard set of whiskers and well-groomed cheekfur.
