The books have been well received, with folks enjoying the focus on identity and non-binary, ace/aro, furry, and plural representation. As a self-published series, sales are quite limited, with the books selling around 100 copies, though they are also made available to read for free in the browser. Given the small size of the audience and the complexities of working with POD, I'd prefer to pay a higher flat fee rather than royalties, but that's definitely negotiable.

The illustrations would be 1-2 full color, full page (5.5x8.5" with 0.125" bleed and 0.75" inner margin) images. More information from the printer [here](https://www.ingramspark.com/hubfs/downloads/file-creation-guide.pdf) under "Color Text Quick Reference". As they will be available as e-books to be read on e-readers, some consideration should be made to how they'll look in black and white.

In an ideal world, I'd like the illustrations completed by December 1, 2022 for a January 2023 publication date, but backers have been informed that this stretch goal might affect rerelease dates for the first three books, so having the illustrations in hand by February 15, 2023 is an option.
