Finished Neal Stephenson's <em>Anathem</em> last night.  I'm starting to see a formula to his books, but, like Neal Gaiman, it's a good one, and he pulls it off well.  While this wasn't my favorite Stephenson book, I enjoyed seeing his writing in a more blatant sci-fi setting (closer to <em>Diamond Age</em> rather than his cyberpunk <em>Snowcrash</em>).  I'll have to read it again to really get the whole thing.
