%title Heresiarch
Story of someone with earnest beliefs frustrated by being deemed a heretic and where to go from there. Via the list of furry heresies:
Sextillianism - the belief, originated by Sextillius in the third century CE, that species plays a role in the ease with which one's soul can accept salvation (see also: Ebionites). Refuted in the First Council of Nicaea.
Pantherism - the belief that Jesus, as the Pan-Ther (that is, the universal animal), had aspects of all species, including those unique to each, rather than solely aspects shared by all species. See also the related concept of distinctionism, that the spirit of Jesus comprises universal aspects of all species (plus the divine), God the Father comprises all specific aspects (plus the divine), and the Holy Spirit only the divine.
