%title Notes from last RPG session
In the *Super Snow Funtime* session on 2020-04-25, we met up with a satyr type, *Hera* who had watched us defeat the werewolves (and then steal away Grimbald). He had been hiding using a method of "making his soul as small and quiet as possible". We were hunting around for this presence we felt, but it was proving difficult.
When we got him back to our tent, he requested that we defeat the werewolves because they had been essentially starving his people out by hunting ruthlessly during the summer when they had been growing their food stores for the winter. We all agreed that that was probably a good idea (especially since we were planning on doing so anyway), and so we started to talk about what we would get in turn. He brought out a book, at which point Belek's patron freaked out. Belek had to roll a CON save and failed, taking 6HP. Belek saw an undeniable command to 'sacrifice' this Hera.
Belek ran in to prevent the deal-making process, at which point Hera smiled and said, "You don't need to do this. You don't need to be like this." He then offered to help Belek get out from under their Patron's control. Patron, natch, got upset at this and Belek was compelled to attack Hera, intentionally whiffing the strikes. They want to get out from under their Patron, but have to do as they say and look like they want to so as not to arouse suspicions.
They decided instead to turn their attacks on Loomis (still intentionally whiffing) so that the party would understand that they would need to be dragged off, which Aliz did.
Loomis is now worried about a 'catfolk insurrection' after Stepan and Belek both started acting strange in a single session.
