We talked about this in the tub:
* If Muse sent this to Beholden and *then* went to go watch the firework, Beholden would have had time to go interrupt her and bring Pointillist with.
* They went to go try and stop her, got there partway through the firework
* Muse pretty angry about this, crying, saying they were not supposed to be there
* They talk for an hour or two, but Muse convinces them (Pointillist first) that this is the right thing for her to do.
* Beholden forks beforehand, lets down-tree take the merge and try to decide whether or not to incorporate it.
* She decides not to because, at that moment, she's worried it'll overwhelm who she is and change the dynamic she's worked on so hard with Pointillist.
